Frans Duijts (1979) is a Dutch singer.
Frans Duijts began his singing career as an André Hazes imitator. But because of the success of the song “Je denkt maar dat je alles mag van mij” (a cover of an André Hazes song from 1986 (written by Pierre Kartner), Duijts decided to increase his focus on his own singing career.
Meanwhile Duijts already had six hits in the Single Top 100. His album “Zo ben ik mezelf “ was a great success, and remained in the Album Top 100 for the maximum allowed chart-time of two years.
Besides singing, he also works in the family business, a demolition company in Tiel.
Michel van Velsen (1968)
In 2015 Michel tasted Rushkinoff Caramel on Mallorca for the first time and fell in love with it immediately. Exactly 1 week later, he sat at the table with the supplier to ask if he could become an importer for this drink for the Netherlands, Belgium and Austria.
When he moved house in 2017, he becomes Frans Duijts’ neighbour and that’s how they met. On a summer evening Michel introduced Rushkinoff Caramel to Frans and as always one thing leads to another: they decide to start a company together and make it a success. 5 O’clock B.V. was born.
Michel was born and raised in Tiel (the Netherlands) and has completely changed course after a long career in the world of glass. He now follows his passion and is determined to join forces with Frans and put 5 O’clock B.V.’s drinks worldwide on the map.
